This is time for you meet your future new friends at Shopify NYC! Get to know new faces and make new connections before the full day tomorrow.
For people who are on low-carb diet, there will be other things to eat as well. Our Summit Leaders are all going to be hosting individual private dinners to open the conference.
Each guest will be carefully assigned a restaurant to go to for dinner.
Dinner will enable you to meet new people but we’ll also engage in some discussion. We’ll talk about exit stories, war stories and plenty of other things.
Dinner will “officially” end at 9PM… but New York never sleeps and you can choose to continue your night as late as you want. Just make it back in time for tomorrow’s sessions!

We have thoughtful arranged seating to help you meet new friends as you bond over breakfast. 🍽️ If you’re doing intermittent fasting, feel free to drink water.
Kickstart the Summit with a State of Union on the world of Commerce
Join us as we engage in some interesting banter with two founders who have had some of the biggest consumer exits in recent history.
We’re going to break off into smaller groups of 10 to 15 people to engage in discussions on tactics and strategies on how we can achieve personal peak performance both in our personal and professional lives. Don’t worry, your group will be filled with a bunch of Type A people. You’ll share learnings but more importantly, continue to build new and high quality relationships.
You might be hungry and so you will get to eat. We’re going to thoughtfully arrange for you to meet some new friends again and we’ll listen to some interesting people talk about IPOs.
As you can see, we really care about you meeting new friends. We’ll leave this time for you to have 15 minute connects with people who you wanted to meet. We’ll work with you to schedule these in advance of the Summit.
We’ll whisk you off (or more likely you’ll walk a few short blocks) to a secret venue where you’ll get to have some productive fun. But like all other parts of the Summit, we’re going to help engineer some new relationships by putting you into thoughtful groups.
This is time for a quick power nap or grab your new friends and meet over smoothies and/or cocktails. For the intermittent fasters, maybe you can now eat something.
